The Magic Mama program offers a staged approach to your exercise needs from realignment to restrenghtening. Early PostPartum is a special time. As well as lots of rest we need to start to rehabilitate our core muscles to help us deal with day to day activities of motherhood & life. The Restore Stage is for the first 2-6 weeks. The Align stage is suitable for the 5-6 week mark, though some will start Align exercises at the 6-8 week mark. The Restrengthen stage is usually between 8 weeks to 6 months. When you feel you have restored your core well, you will move to the Extend stage - where you load heavier, include regular corework & return basically to regular level exercise. Modify as you need for your weakest link, and move back a stage if you need. Understanding the Self-Knowledge tips will aid you in your recovery so you can be the best you can be in the weeks & months ahead.
